It’s the Scottish CIPR Press Awards tonight in Glasgow, Scotland and the list of finalists is quite impressive. There’s a few entries from chums of mine at DADA, Whyte and Mackay, Holyrood Partnership and ex-employers like Beattie Communications.

Weber Shandwick must fancy their chances, being up for six awards, and coming off the back of being named International Consultancy of the Year at the PRWeek UK Awards last night.

There’s a lack of digital matters there but I wonder if that’s something now better covered by the likes of the recent Drum awards or it might be something the CIPR looks at adding too for coming years.

Anyway, no doubt Scott Douglas of the Edinburgh and Scotland PR firm Holyrood Partnership will be tweeting away from the event (or if someone else is, post below what the hashtag is) and all that’s left to say is ‘good luck’ to the people I like and ‘hope you lose’ to the people I don’t.
