Check it out – a new look All Media Scotland. The traditional site has been given a shove to the side and there’s now a more magazine-blog style layout, rolling round the clock news and bloggers (seems to have been an explosion of them the last month in Scottish media – The Drum is doing them too).

Designed by Digital Partners – in conjunction with graphic designer Matthew Ball – it looks fantastic. And Mike Wilson isn’t leaving it at this with plans for podcasts and other developments, that should keep it at the forefront of media sites.

It’s all the more remarkable when you consider that at times the site has been held together by tenacity and Mike’s dedication, but day in day out he has delivered relevant and timely stories – something set to happen even more if the site is now updated more often than the past 8.30am updating.

And it’s off to a good start with revealing the news from the CIPR Scotland PR Awards (and Epic Scotland have some great pics) on Friday night. No one else seems to have thought it worth mentioning over the weekend (though you would have thought the CIPR would have put the details on their website or Facebook page) which is a poor show in an age of instant communications.
