Say what you want about the Scottish Social Media Dinner, it was unpredictable. More or less a total revamp of the speakers, some surprise guests, two incidents involving hospitals, a car crash, a guest stuck in a plane, a suspected heart attack, traffic jams, a lot of fish and a lack of mint choc chip ice cream. All in the space of three hours. (That list reads like a Richard Curtis film title.)

A proper write-up tomorrow but my thanks to everyone who came along. There seemed to be some good chat, I really hope that everyone got something useful out of it – either a thought or a topic or a new contact or even just a decent fish supper. I do know at least one person got work out of it.

And for those who texted and tweeted: yes, she’s fine. Monklands Hospital sent her home (still with chest pains but they said they had no idea what was up with her after taking Heart Trace’s and ECGs amongst other things), we’re not long all back in our respective homes. Thanks for asking, that meant a lot.

Sorry I missed it – I was one of those missing speakers – I had a simple car crunch to deal with. Hope to make it along to the next one!
