There’s a lot of reports that iPhone 4.0 does multitasking. Now that’s the same OS that will run on the iPad, so when it comes out, the iPad will – with a simple update – multitask.

The reason Apple never announced this the other night is a) 4.0 isn’t finished yet and b) why lose a later PR hit? Just now everyone is talking about the iPad. When 4.0 with multitasking comes out there will be more coverage.
