The pic to the left (and larger below) just turned up in my inbox and in this day and age of social media and fan interaction, I’m wondering if it was put out there deliberately to judge the feedback from fans…After all it would make perfect sense. It’s an easy way of seeing what people think without spending a penny – while also looking as if it never came from the club. Either that or it’s an old-fashioned hoax or someone just leaking.

But in this day and age, wouldn’t it be great if football fans were given the choice of the strip. Take it down to the best four concepts and then let the fans vote for the winner. Or be even more daring and invite the fans to create the strip – now that’s interaction and a great use of digital media doing outreach to the fans.

Anyone wanting to use the image should credit back to Contently-Managed.com/blog and – probably – Binnie_Bhoy

UPDATE:

It’s also been suggested that it’s the same with the new Scotland strip (thanks to Duncan Falconer)…

Right someone send me an image of the new Rangers strip and we’ll make it three in a row….
