Just a quick note to say that while I won’t have a stand, I’ll be kicking about the New Start Scotland conference, so if anyone’s looking for some free social media or digital engagement advice, feel free to call me and catch me for a coffee or just come up and say hi.*

I’ll definitely be there on the Friday, I’m not so sure about Saturday (that’s given over to Scottish Blogger Dad duties), so if you’re there say hello.

There looks set to be some good stuff at the event including Alasdair Northrop, Editor of Scottish Business Insider and Business7 speaking about making the most of the media and Gary Ennis, Managing Director NSDesign Ltd with an introduction to Social Networking for Business. Gary and Alasdair both know their stuff, so it will be interesting to see what they say. The main speaker should be interesting too, but every time I mention him he sics his PR firm on me, so I’m not mentioning him.

I’m looking forward to catching up with the likes of Gary and Bad Pony Media, so it should be an interesting event. For those thinking of heading along, you can still get free tickets.

Anyway the hashtag for the two day event is #NSS10, so even if you can’t make it, follow there as I’m sure there will be plenty of Twitter actions.
